If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hard hearted or tightfisted toward your brother. Rather, be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs.

The mission of blessed portion ministries is to seek out the homeless of Fort Wayne, to minister to their temporal needs by providing food, clothing, and other necessary items such as blankets or hygiene kits. In addition, we minister to them spiritually as we spend time with them, listening to their souls and praying with them.
Our small group heads out every Friday night to provide this relief. This blog will chronicle our efforts and also provide means for people who wish to help to provide support either by donating needed items or funds to help support the ministry.
